Thievery Corporation at the Hollywood Bowl

Even after enduring muggy, 100-degree heat among a sold-out crowd, I must agree that the Hollywood Bowl is truly one of the gems of Los Angeles. Last night, Daphne and I sweat it out with 18,000 of our closest friends at the KCRW Thievery Corporation/Flaming Lips concert. As we trekked up to the bowl, Os Mutantes’ Brazilian rhythms drifted down the hills, feeding the pre-concert frenzy outside the venue. I would’ve enjoyed hearing more of
